FAQ
Will files be uploaded to the server when converting PDF to images?
No. Conversion happens entirely in your browser. Files never leave your device, fully protecting your privacy.
What is the difference between JPG and PNG?
JPG files are smaller and better for photos and large documents. PNG uses lossless compression and is better for documents with transparent backgrounds or precise details.
What does resolution multiplier mean?
Base screen resolution is about 72 dpi. 2x is about 150 dpi, and 3x about 225 dpi. Higher multipliers make images clearer, but also increase file size and processing time.
What should the converted image file name be?
Image files are named in the format "original_filename_page_001.jpg". For multiple pages, they are automatically numbered in sequence and packaged as a ZIP download.
